Bailey Cummings is a London-based director, producer, stage manager, and occasional performer with a passion for musical theatre, contemporary drama, and new work development.  His work has been seen on stages across the US and abroad in cities such as, New York, Salt Lake City, and London.  Some of his credits include Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (2018), Joel Trinidad's IT'S ALL IN THE DELIVERY (2022), and Joel Trinidad and Luke Simnett's A TALE OF TWO: A NEW MUSICAL (upcoming 2024).  He is a co-founder of HARBINGER THEATRE, whose inaugural immersive production [COMPUTER] will debut at the Camden Fringe Festival this August, 2024.  Bailey received his Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Utah in 2018.  As a performer, he has worked on stages such as Pioneer Theatre Company, Salt Lake Acting Company, and Kingsbury Hall with credits in shows like Sting's THE LAST SHIP and Jerry Herman's HELLO, DOLLY!  Bailey is the founding artistic director of OPEN DOOR PRODUCTIONS, a Salt Lake City-based theatre company, dedicated to the development of new works and the craft of young artists.  He is also the current Managing/Artistic Director of the EAST LONDON THEATRE COLLECTIVE, championing the voices of young artists from diverse backgrounds all over the UK.  Currently, Bailey is pursuing an MA in theatre directing at the University of East London.  He is set to finish in summer of 2024 and is looking forward to contributing to the vast theatrical landscape in the city of London.
